Regional Competition Entry Limit
CLIENTS MUST REVIEW & HONOR OUR REGIONAL ENTRY LIMIT RULES ENTIRELY.
IF A PORTION OR ALL OF ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUESTS ARE DENIED, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR SECURED CONVENTION REGISTRATION FEES AND/OR SECURED COMPETITION REGISTRATION FEES. IN ORDER FOR ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUESTS TO BE CONSIDERED, FULL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BY/BEFORE THE STATED REGIONAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR YOUR EVENT.
During every regional event attendees are extended an abundance of quality dance education classes, amazing scholarship audition opportunities and an incredible competition experience. In order to maintain the integrity of our event schedule and balance a focus in all areas within a regional time schedule, we operate under regional entry limit rules. We are not an event that prioritizes quantity over quality, nor are we an event that is willing to hold a 1 am awards ceremony. Our regional entry limit rules allow us to adhere to an obtainable, healthy and positive experience for every attendee.
There is not solo, duo, trio entry limit at our National Finals competition due to the extended time we have available for scheduling at our summer event. 2 solos per dancer are permitted at Nationals. If a studio attends and competes any number of routines at any regional event within 12 months prior to National Finals, they automatically qualify to attend and register an unlimited number of entries at our National Finals. To find out more about our National Finals, please visit our National Finals event page.
Please review the information below regarding our regional competition entry rules, including the ability to submit for consideration of additional solo, duo and trio entries. Dupree Dance reserves the right to limit the number of solo, duo, or trio entries per studio if the amount of pre-registered entries exceeds the designated time available for the competition in that city. In this event, Dupree Dance would offer a full refund for numbers that are pulled from the line-up.

Regional Additional Solo, Duo and Trio Entry Requests
A studio may choose to submit Additional Requested solo, duo and trio routines by selecting to ‘add an Additional Requested routine’ at any time during their online regional competition registration. While data must be entered for consideration, you will not be charged for routine(s) entered as Additional Requests. The number of Additional Requested Routines accepted for each event will be based on the data of the secured competition entries.
Additional requested solo, duo and trio routines will be accepted/declined (space permitting) within a week after the formal registration deadline. Dupree will communicate directly with a studio regarding the acceptance of all or a portion of their Additional Requested entries, and will then provide the total balance due for those routines as well as payment options. Additional Requested routines balance will be paid separately, and due at a time closer to our event. This will allow a studio time to collect the fees of additional requested routine’s that are accepted in our line-up.
Regional Competition Registration
After a minimum of five convention registered dancers in the Launch-Senior rooms are entered for a regional event, our system will allow you to proceed with competition registration. If you plan on registering group competition entries, please enter those first. You will select the ‘Add a New Routine’ button prior to proceeding with routine data for each group entry. Group entries are unlimited and guaranteed. If you plan on securing up to 5 solo, duo, trio entries, you will select the ‘Add a New Routine’ button prior to proceeding with routine data for up to 5 solo, duo and trios.
If you would like to submit for one or more additional requested solo, duo or trios, you will select the ‘Add a New Additional Requested Routine (pending approval)’ button prior to proceeding with routine data for those entries. Additional requested routine fees will not be included in your registration balance.
If you have a personal ‘all or nothing policy’ and prefer that all your solo, duo and trio entries are submitted as Additional Requests, you will need to select the ‘Add a New Additional Routine (pending approval)’ button prior to the data entry for ALL your solo, duo and trios. Do not choose to secure any number of solo, duo or trio entries during your online registration process unless you desire for them to perform regardless of the acceptance of your Additional Requested solo, duo or trio routines.
Full payment for a studio’s online convention and secured competition registration must be received prior to the consideration of their additional requested routines. You will be unable to request a refund or pull secured competition entries in the event that a portion or all of your additional requested solo, duo or trio routines are declined.
